Eurasian Resources Group helps strengthen ties between Europe and China through Luxembourg economic mission

The Luxembourg economic mission in China, organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of the Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, brought the business communities of the two nations together to discuss partnerships and opportunities of the cross-border cooperation. Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), a leading diversified natural resources producer with a headquarters in Luxembourg and diverse stakeholder relationships in China, was represented at the event by Mr. Shukhrat Ibragimov, Head of Business Development, and Mr. Yun Wang, Head of China Representative Office.

The delegation of the Luxembourg economic mission to China, that took place on May 1-6, was headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in the presence of Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess, and was led by H.E. Mr. Étienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy. ERG has a strong portfolio of commercial partnerships in China and also boasts a competitive and growing selection of exclusive technological and project finance initiatives with the country’s government, industrial leaders and financial institutions. The Group is at the nexus of economic ties between China and Europe as a part of the New Silk Road Initiative.

On the sidelines of the economic mission ERG’s team members attended the economic seminar ‘Luxembourg: Your Innovation Center in Europe’ in Beijing, and they also participated in the ‘International Electronics & Engineering S.A. 10 Year Anniversary Reception’ led by H.E. Mr. Ambassador of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg in Beijing, Paul Steinmetz, in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses and the Deputy Prime Minister.
