Compliance Policies

Our Code of Conduct is supported by 10 related Compliance policies. These policies provide the basis for the continuous improvement of the organisation, they provide a framework for transparency and best practice through the prevention of:

    theft or fraud;
  • 3
    assisting or facilitating money laundering and financing of terrorism;

    anti-competitive behavior;
  • 5
    breaches of international sanctions regimes;
  • 6
    engagement in activities which conflict or compete with the interests of Eurasian Resources Group;
  • 7
    compromising reputation of Eurasian Resources Group through the behaviour of its agents or through their inappropriate actions;
  • 8
    risks from the related party transactions;
  • 9
    breaches of data protection policy;
  • 10
    improper influence and conflicts of interest when giving and receiving gifts or entertainment.

The ERG 16 Principles or Standards of Business Conduct:

Overarching Principle
Directors, employees and agents must act at the best interest of the Company, with integrity, honesty, and must exercise good judgment in performing their duties.
Compliance with Laws, Rules and Regulations
Employees must comply with all applicable laws, the Code as well as company policies and procedures.
Fair Employment Practices
Treatment of employees must comply with all applicable employment laws
Health, Safety and Environment
ERG is committed to providing a safe work environment and to avoid as far as is reasonably practicable adverse impact to the environment and the communities in which it does business.
Private Data Protection
ERG protects personal and private data of employees and third parties.
Confidential information, Protection
Employees must protect ERG's confidential information. It systems must be used for ERG's business purposes only.
Gift and Entertainment
Employees must not accept unlawful or inappropriate gifts or entertainment.
Conflicts of Interests
Employees must not engage in activities which conflict or compete with the interests of ERG.
Accounting and Reporting
Treatment of employees must comply with all applicable employment laws
Fair Employment Practices
Transactions must be properly authorized and recorded and records must be properly maintained.
Anti-Bribery and Corruption
ERG is opposed to bribery and corruption in whatever form.
Competition
ERG must conduct its business in accordance with applicable competition laws.
International Trade, Export Controls, Financial and Political Sanctions
ERG must comply with applicable international trade laws and laws on export control.
Dealing with Counterparties and Reporting Suspicious Transactions
Transaction must be legitimate and lawful and counterparties should be properly identified.
Reporting of Concerns
Employees should report concerns and issues regarding non-compliance with the law, the Code, Company policies and procedures.
Non-Compliance and Waiver
Employees violating provisions of the law, the Code or Company policies and procedures may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination.
