Cobalt-based alloys have a diverse range of important uses, but are most commonly associated with battery materials and 'super-alloys' used in extreme environment where hard wearing and heat resistance are vital
and processes them to concentrate of varying grades, suppling cobalt concentrate to the market for further processing to metal or battery materials. A part of Boss Mining production is further processed at Chambishi Metals in Zambia that produces cobalt metal in broken cathode form of varying grades to meet market demands.
